Summary:
This position is responsible for operating radio, telephone, and computer equipment in response to emergency and non-emergency calls.
Receive reports from the public of crimes, disturbances, fires, and medical or police emergencies.
Relay information to law enforcement and emergency response personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship / internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
Possession or ability to obtain NCIC certification Valid Texas Driver License.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
